A downloadable game

This is the tabletop card game that I designed for my work study at the University of Baltimore. It is meant to address the functional fixedness that people so that they can attempt to solve their problems using new perspectives.
At the moment, there is only one card as this is a prototype. I will add more and improve the visuals at a later date.
Rules:

  • A group of 3-5 players trying to solve a collective problem.
  • The first Quest Giver is whoever is the youngest.
  • The Quest Giver draws a card from the Quest deck reads the scenario on the card along with any given limitations, with the Questers attempting to solve the problem.
  • The Quest Giver is allowed to assist the Questers using the hints written on the card.
  • Once the group of Questers comes up with a solution or if the group of Questers agree that they cannot come up with a solution, the Quest card is put into the discard pile.
  • The person clockwise of the Quest Giver then becomes the new Quest Giver
  • Once each person has been the Quest Giver, the group reviews the cards in the discard pile and discusses what went right, what they can improve on, and what they learned from each scenario about addressing their personal functional fixedness.
  • The group then applies the what they learned about functional fixedness and apply it to the issue they are collectively attempting to solve.
